The Yeti Snow Mold sat on the front of the Bootmobile and we spotted them in random snow banks all over Toronto!
After visiting the L.L.Bean Bootmobile, The Oldest and I set out to explore a little more of Toronto. It's not everyday you get to see the city blanketed with snow! We had to stop and check out the iconic Toronto sign at Nathan Phillips Square.
Next stop was nearby on Queen Street (corner of Queen & Bay St.) to see The Hudson's Bay's Christmas windows. I had heard this was the first time in many years that they have changed the theme and couldn't wait to see what they had come up with. The Enchanted Forest was their new theme and it combined woodland creatures with video backdrops. Each window, I think there was 4 or 5, had a different main animal. I loved the bear window above with the aurora borealis video.
I also loved (like a lot) the dancing Canadian geese! They video and animatronic geese all danced to Christmas tunes. Too cute!
Oh and I can't forget to share this photo booth photo from the gang at eOne Films promoting La La Land, the most anticipated movie (in my house) this season! The staff on hand try and get you to dance or something but I just said I can't dance so I'll just stand here closer to Ryan. It's true, I can't dance but that might change after seeing this film!
It was a quick morning visit (if you followed on IG Stories you also saw us headed to the ACC to buy Raptors gear) to Toronto but my son and I saw everything we wanted to. I really just wanted to be able to see the Bootmobile in person and it was everything I thought it would be! The staff kindly gave me the Katahdin Pom Hat for being such a loyal fan, I can't thank them enough! It's true, I was decked out in my Women's Bean Boots By L.L.Bean, 8" Thinsulate and my favourite Sweater Fleece Pullover that I have been wearing non-stop since the big snow storm last week. It's super warm and comfy and I just might never take it off! My Leather Handle Boat and Tote Bag Canvas is my frequent companion for quick trips. I love how easy it is to carry since the handles are nice and thin. Because it is an open top bag, I grabbed a buffalo check blanket scarf to put on top. It helped prevent things from falling out and, quite frankly, kept my wallet hidden from prying eyes.
What adventures did you get up to this weekend?
