Feeling French

Location: Victoria Park, Kitchener Ont.

I was feeling very French inspired last weekend when I took the boys, along with their skateboards, to one of our favourite spots in the city, Victoria Park. I even brought along my coffee table book of France to reread while the boys played (if you follow on Snapchat @Celebr8thislife you saw their antics last weekend).

Every girl's closet needs a classic French sailor boatneck sweater. I had been on the search for just the right one and of course, I found it at L.L. Bean. I found this little scarf while vintage shopping and I must admit, I almost passed on it. After reading this Pinterest I see that I will be able to get a lot of use out of this little scarf! Hunters were very necessary as the ground everywhere was mucky. We had an ice storm, followed by more snow, then lots of rain and on this day, sunshine. Still, the ground wasn't able to soak up all the water and I was very happy to not soak my feet while walking through the park. This is all very typical spring weather for Canada, cold and snow one day followed  by sun and high temperatures. Let's all cross our fingers we are looking at sunny days from here on out!
